Disappointment

Boy did I set myself up today. :P :( I was sooo sure that the copy of Super Mario Galaxy I ordered from Amazon would arrive in the mail today. It didn't. :( But I only have myself to blame for this disappointment. I don't usually, or rather almost never raise my expectations, but even I can be a little human sometimes. :P So I made the mistake of overestimating the U.S. Postal Service's delivery methods. But I don't mean that as a knock. I'm the one who ordered the game late. Plus, this is the sorta thing you have to brace yourself for when you opt for the free shipping. I saved $5, now I have to wait.

And what a wait it is. I've been dying to play this game for the longest time! Ever since it was first announced! I want it sooo bad! :P Anyway, my hope is that it'll arrive on Monday. The day before the expected time of arrival according to Amazon. Right now I'm telling myself it'll come on Tuesday. I'm not getting my hopes up again. :P Lesson learned. ;) In the meantime I'm gonna try not to think of the game... but that's sure to fail. So maybe I'll dive headfirst into it by absorbing every game review I can find. :P

Oh how I wish I could time-travel. :P
